I had a really fun time this year keeping track of all of this information. I'm planning to keep track of the same info for the year 2012, and maybe add some other categories?
I think it's nuts that I watched more than 500 TV episodes this year. It was all the seasons of Sports Night, Bones, Futurama, Mad Men, 30 Rock, and How I Met Your Mother. The shows are all of varying lengths but seriously that is hundreds of hours of time. I enjoyed every minute of it but holy shit that's a lot of minutes.
And what's also nuts is that I spent more than a month's rent on bar tabs. Hi, mom.
These numbers will probably not be totally different at the end of 2012. Maybe less money on bar tabs? Maybe just cheaper bars? I am not one to wax poetic around the new year about fresh starts and change and resolutions. In reality it's just another day. But there is something to be said for the feeling that January 1 holds. Maybe, this year, I'll...
