Mixtape Blitz II

So this morning when I was getting ready for class I, for some reason, did bad math and got up like 45 minutes earlier than necessary. Better than 45 minutes late, certainly, but it was super wacky. I was ready to go and it was only like 8:15 and that made no sense. So I put my iTunes on shuffle and danced around my room. Productive? Obvi. And so many good things played that I decided to share them with you because that is the kind of person I am. The kind of person that overshares music videos on Blogger. You're welcome.

Grew a moustache and a mullet, got a job at Chik-fil-A. Citing artistic differences, the band broke up in May. And, in June, re-formed without me -- and they got a different name. I nuked another Grandma's apple pie and hung my head in shame. Oh, no.

Carry that weight a long time.

All eyes on me in the center of the ring just like a circus.

Everything falls out of focus -- you walk through the door, the one thing that's clear to me.

I miss the sound of your voice -- the loudest thing in my head. I ache to remember all the violent, sweet, perfect words that you said. [This song used to play like every three songs at the CLU gym.]

D-I-N-O-S-A U R a dinosaur! [bahahhahahha]

I am still an option that you have. So carry me around like a picture in your purse and pull me out when things are at their worst.

There's no need to pack your bags or a map -- we won't need them where we're going. We're going where the wind is blowing, not knowing where we're going to stay.

I'll be your distraction.
