For our History of Christianity class, we have to write a group paper (barf) on the formation of creeds. Because we're out of the box kinds of kids, Sara, Sean, Nathan and I are each writing our own creeds, and then writing about what makes our creeds legit. We're skipping the part about what makes them illegit (hahaha I've never said that before but it is awesome). This is draft one of mine, though it won't format properly TO SAVE MY LIFE:
I believe in Love.
I believe that Love, together with Redemption and Inspiration, holds this world together.
This world that Love established in order to have someone to love.
This world that Redemption proved worthy of that love.
This world that Inspiration encourages to exchange that love.
I believe in exchange of Love through many avenues, which may depend on
geographical restriction,
language of origin,
and social location.
I believe in pursuit of all that is holy, which includes
enormity of questions,
insufficiency of answers,
and immensity of trust.
I believe that life in Love is fullness.
I believe that life alone is emptiness.
