So, my new friend Sean and I do all our homework together. We have three of the same classes, so it works out pretty well. Plus, he lives with the person about whom I last posted. So you can see that he wants to get away from that as often as possible. The coolest part about hanging out with Sean all day is that we talk about pretty much everything we can think of, which always leads to sweet theological discussions. Sean told me he was going to write "The Book of Sean" (he doesn't think it's quite good enough to be a Gospel) in the back of my Bible behind the maps. And then yesterday while I wasn't paying attention, he did! Hahaha this is what it says:
All Caseys and Catherines are the coolest people. You shall do what Sean says because the Wisdom and the Spirit are with him. From this point you should look to Love for guidance. Throw away your pride and ego. God is Lord over the oppressed, whether that be deficiency of spirit or critical supplies for life. Just remember, all is done is God's love, name, and spirit because God is RAD! So be a RAD disciple. And no making fun of Sean. Buy Sean candy and a phone. Or MacBook.
I think it's pretty good. He teases me for my incessant use of the word "rad" and he covets my MacBook. Here in seminary we make jokes about coveting a lot. It's awesome.
